At Zion’s River we believe even the littlest ones can experience the love of Jesus! Our nursery is designed for children up to age 3 and is staffed by women who will compassionately care for your children while you attend the worship service. Every volunteer is trained and background checked for your child’s safety.
WHEN YOU ARRIVE
A Nursery Attendant will meet you at the door to receive your child, his or her diaper bag and any other necessary items. Please supply to the attendant any information that will help us in caring for your child, such as feeding times, sleeping times, allergies, and special needs. At the time of check-in, you will be given a receipt that matches your child’s identification label and we will verify your mobile number in case we need to contact you during service. After you have completed the check-in process, simply wave a quick good-bye and leave for the worship service.
As you know, it is normal for little ones to cry when a parent leaves. This does not last long, and separation becomes easier over time. Our Nursery Attendants will immediately create interest in a toy or activity and give assurance that you will return. If your child cries for an extended period, we will text you.
PICK-UP PROCEDURE
Please present your receipt upon return to the nursery. We will verify your receipt number matches the number on your child’s identification label and then we’ll release your child to you.
